Another Ultrasound

So this little guy was lucky enough to get more than one ultrasound.

At my last one they were concerned that I had a low lying placenta, which can cause problems with preterm labor or because of my previous history (C-section with Lucas), I could have problems if I were to have another C-Section.  Meaning the placenta would be implanted near or on my original incision sight.  Luckily all is well and things are good.

My next appointment will determining if I have Gestational Diabetes.  After reading about it and getting feedback from family and friends I'm not too worried.

I'll just take it one day at a time.  I'm very excited since I'm getting closer to the end.  One more week and I'll have 10 weeks left! Wahoo!

Lucas and the Alphabet

Its been fun to have Lucas in school.  I cannot believe how much he has changed.  He's also turned into a sponge, soaking up all the information he can.  He has this book he writes in and tries to spell things out.  Making the sounds of each letter in the alphabet, trying to figure out what letters are in Stop, Lucas, Mommy, Harrison.  ANYTHING.  He's already picking out and recognizing words in these books we've been reading.  "The Magic Tree House"  Its a series that he just loves.  I would highly recommend them.
